I met with Martha Bushong and Stephen Nash of the Volgenau School to discuss the possibility of improving their websites’ analytics implementations.
Many of their websites do not have analytics at all, and most of those that do are not included in the Mason Google Analytics Roll-Up.
In our discussion, I was able to convince them of the importance of implementing analytics on all of their websites, and including their websites in the Roll-Up.
Following the meeting, I upgraded volgenau.gmu.edu and seor.gmu.edu to GTM. I also worked with Martha to develop a list of all Volgenau websites and had Martha rank them into categories of low. medium, and high importance. I will proceed to reach-out to the responsible parties for their websites to attempt to convince them to implement analytic and/or participate in the roll-up as appropriate.
