I met with representatives from University Life to review what internal site search data was available in Google Analytics.
University Life is planning to implement a mobile application platform called Involvio, within which they can highlight campus events and activities, etc. In order to determine what students are interested in at a given time, they wanted to be able to review internal site search data in Google Analytics.
I reviewed the data that was available, I demonstrated for them the MS Excel site search tracking tool that may be helpful to them in tracking changes in site search query interest, and I showed them how to implement site search tracking on University Life websites.
