I met with three staff members of Government and Community Relations to review their analytics and discuss next steps.
We reviewed the analytics on their websites – including relations.gmu.edu, masonspeakers.gmu.edu, and the community portal pages on the Mason core website to identify any issues and areas of improvement, as well as just to familiarize them with the GA interface. I also created some custom segments and reports for them to use.
We plan to implement GTM on both of their stand-alone websites, as well as implement conversion goals in their analytics.
I also discussed with them the value of campaign-tagging for their emails and social media posts. They are planning on implementing campaign-tagging for future communications and I will help them implement and test.
