I met with Laura Bushong of Volgenau to discuss the possiblity of tracking visits to their website from the printed 2017 Annual Report (and the associated online PDF that gets posted on their website).
We developed a plan to use ‘vanity’/redirect links in the Annual Report, which would be set-up by ITS to redirect to the appropriate ‘long’ URLs on the Volgenau website with campaign parameters attached to indicate to Google Analytics that the visits from the redirect came from the 2017 printed Annual Report.
They agreed to proceed with this plan.
